Update on Gloria

Well, I know that I haven't updated in a while. So here it goes....

Craig was at A&M for a Business Development Training Class for Halliburton. He was one of 22 invitations only back at college for a week. He was there last Sunday - Friday. Even though the thought of going to a week long class didn't sound all that exciting, he really enjoyed himself and learned a lot. With this class behind him, he is excited to see what new opportunities they will offer him with Halliburton.

While Craig was gone, his parents, Gloria and Donnie, were here staying for a few days. She had a check-up appointment with her Breast Cancer Doctor at MD Anderson who gave her nothing but GREAT news!! For the first time he used the phrase "you are in remission". How wonderful!! The doctors still want to follow her closely and frequently because the type of cancer that she had was so aggressive and fast spreading. Gloria will still keep up with her maintenance chemo in Slidell every 3 weeks as an outpatient. She is feeling good and getting some of her strength back. Donnie is doing well, also. He takes care of Gloria and she takes care of him. They have incredible faith that helps them take each day as it comes.

Thank you to everyone for all your thoughts and prayers. It has been a long 15 months, but with faith in God prayers can be answered!!
