It has been just pure chaos in our house the last few weeks. Craig has been sick for 8 weeks now. Thank goodness he is feeling a little better!! Ashleigh has been well, for the most part. She had an ear infection, but that has cleared up. Ryleigh, on the other hand, has been through the ringer...
In September she had that "black-out" thing. So we have gone to doctors and had tests done for that. So far so good and have found nothing wrong with her. Hopefully it was just one of those freaky things that will never happen again.
Well, now - Tuesday, two weeks ago, she got an ear infection and was put on antibiotics. Well, lo and behold she gets a yeast infection. I immediately tackle it with the medicines we had from last time and it just blew up and got worse. Plus she has had massive diarrhea from the antibiotics. Her poor bottom was so raw she didn't know if she wanted to sit or stand or walk or be held. It was miserable. Plus she was up every few hours of the night whenever she made pee. It has been awful. Then the daycare calls and says she has a full body rash. Go figure! The next day she was throwing up. It has been a mess in our house!!
Well, I think we have attributed the body rash to a virus and are hoping that is goes quickly. She is not itching, so it doesn't seem to bother her. It just looks bad.
But then, yesterday, she falls down trying to go inside the house and bumps her head against the door frame in the garage/laundry room. She immediately has a big goose egg on her poor head. We put ice on it and watched her for a while, she was fine.
I tell you - one of these days, things will be normal again??!!
