Well, it's official. Ryleigh is getting her PE (pressure equalizer) tubes in both ears this week. Tuesday actually. After about 6 or 7 ear infections since August of last year we have decided to go with them. For about two months she did well and didn't have an infection at all, but then the last couple months she has had one right after the other. Poor baby also has a bad history of horrific yeast infections with all the antibiotics she has been on and I don't want to keep putting her through that waiting for her to grow out of the ear infection stage, usually around age 2. So, we stopped the current antibiotic we are on, it didn't seem to be working anymore anyway, got an antibiotic shot in the leg and will have the surgery on Tuesday morning. Hopefully things will look better in the near future. We will put off her swim lessons for a little while to let her ears heal and then will get her some ear plugs. Say a little prayer for us that she wakes up in a good mood on Tuesday after her procedure. Here are a couple pictures of her in the chair at the ENT's office Friday. Sorry they are small, I took them with my phone and can't figure out how to get them bigger.
